Dexon Training Center (DTC) officially launches the Mechanical Joint Integrity (MJI) Training Program in collaboration with Petroleum Training Services (PTS).

The program is designed to enhance the skills of the energy sector’s pipeline workforce, ensuring expertise that meets international safety standards.

The initiative addresses common industry challenges caused by improper practices such as incorrect flange tightening, inadequate leak testing, or misaligned assembly.

These mistakes can lead to severe incidents—including hydrocarbon leaks, fires, and even explosions—endangering personnel, assets, and reputation.

The MJI program is accredited by the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) in the UK and certified by the Thailand Petroleum Training Institute (TPTI).

The certification equips Thai workers with globally recognized skills while strengthening the nation’s energy security.

Highlights of the MJI Program

International Accreditation: Certified by ECITB and TPTI (3-year validity).
Theory + Hands-On Practice: Delivered by industry experts.
Real Equipment Training: Simulating real-world work environments.

The program is ideal for technicians, engineers, and operational staff in energy and heavy industries.

Program Modules

MJI-10: Hand Torqued Flange Bolted Connections (2 days)
Covers proper assembly and torqueing using manual torque wrenches, torque measurement, tool selection, and installation quality control.

MJI-19: Hydraulically Torqued Bolted Connections (2 days)
Hands-on training with hydraulic torque wrenches for high-pressure flanges, reducing leak risk and improving system safety.

MJI-18: Hydraulically Tensioned Bolted Connections (3 days)
Training in hydraulic tensioners for precision bolt tensioning in high-pressure and critical-temperature systems.

Dexon Training Center, a subsidiary of Dexon Technology, believes the MJI program will strengthen safety standards, reduce the risks of injury and leaks, and build industry confidence.
