11 October 2024

From October 23–25, Dexon will be exhibiting at the Argentina Oil and Gas Exhibition (AOG) in beautiful Patagonia. Be sure to visit our booth at A-12 and meet Federico Casal, our Latin America Sales Manager with decades of experience in the industry.  He will be accompanied by Paula Caniglia, with over 12 years of sales experience.

Both representatives will be on hand to showcase our latest innovations and discuss how we can support oil and gas operations in the region.

About the AOG Exhibition

Since its launch in 1995, the AOG Exhibition has become one of the most influential events in South America’s oil and gas industry. The previous edition featured 250 exhibitors and drew 11,000 visitors, including top players from across the sector.

This year’s exhibition promises to be even bigger, with over 300 exhibitors – including companies like Chevron, Shell, Tenaris, and SLB

Argentina: A Leader in Oil & Gas

Argentina has over a century of experience in the oil and gas industry and is recognized as one of the safest and cleanest operators in the world.

With recent discoveries of shale gas and oil, the country’s energy landscape has rapidly moved the country to the forefront of the industry.

According to the International Energy Association, Argentina ranks #2 globally for shale gas reserves and #4 for shale oil reserves, poising the country to significantly expand its supply in the near future.

The wider Central and South America region also holds about one-fifth of the world’s oil reserves, and new extraction technologies are creating even more opportunities across the continent.

Dexon’s Role in the Region

Dexon has been active in the region for over 20 years. In the last year alone, we’ve completed over a dozen operations in Latin America, including:

  • A crack and metal loss inspection of an offshore line in Brazil

  • A challenging 3" nitrogen line with 1.5D turns in Chile

  • An 81km crude oil line inspection in Argentina

  • 30km of crude oil lines in Ecuador

Dexon’s booth at this year’s event is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its operations in the region and better understand the needs of local customers.
