Bangkok, Thailand—March 28—Dexon Technology joins the search for missing persons in Bangkok post-earthquake.
We express our deepest condolences to all victims. The earthquake has claimed several lives already and resulted in the collapse of several buildings.
We are honored to support the government agencies and private companies furiously working to rescue and recover those claimed by the collapse of the new State Audit Office building in Chatuchak District.
To support the mission, Dexon has deployed advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment along with a team of expert engineers to assist teams from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Ministry of Interior, who have been operating at the site since the day of the incident.
The supported equipment includes:
Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) Camera: Used to inspect hard-to-reach or unsafe areas without the need for personnel to enter directly; consists of a camera head connected to a durable cord.
CRAWLER F200: Used for inspecting infrastructure in hazardous areas and capable of wirelessly transmitting data even in restricted environments; consists of an unmanned vehicle similar to a remote controlled car.
Dexon sends our heartfelt support to all those affected, their families, and all officers working tirelessly and selflessly in this mission.
We stand in solidarity with all Thai people to overcome this tragedy together.
