The TCCA is a government-led initiative for carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) in Thailand.
The organization will drive the nation toward becoming a low-carbon society and promote CCUS technology in Thailand’s industrial sector.
TCCA & Dexon’s Green Values
Dexon’s participation in the initiative aligns with Dexon's mission to develop sustainable technologies. CCUS technology will play a critical role in bringing the country closer towards carbon neutrality and net zero emissions—helping fend off the dreaded 1.5°C temperature rise on the horizon.
Dexon's own goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) while pursuing innovations that minimize environmental impacts across the value chain.
The alliance is the latest step in Dexon’s transformation towards becoming a green company.
Driving CCUS Technology Implementation in Thai Industry
The TCCA’s initiatives and CCUS technology in Thailand’s industrial sector are essential for promoting Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero Emissions. These efforts are carried out under the Development and Advancement of CCUS Technology for Practical Application project. The project is currently progressing from the prototype stage towards full-scale implementation.
The initiative is led by Thailand’s National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, in collaboration with the National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC). The alliance partners with the public and private sectors, research institutions, and academia to accelerate the deployment of CCUS technology tailored to Thailand.
